The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The support position established for intervention ordeals sassa status a significant inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
